AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING THE NORTH THREE FEET OF
VERNON AVENUE AND THE SOUTH SEVEN FEET OF VERNON AVENUE
WHEREAS, the property owners abutting on Vernon Avenue have
petitioned the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
to permanently close a portion of the same and
WHEREAS,' there is presently a sixty-foot right-of-way for Vernon
Avenue and the public use of the same only required fifty feet of
public night-of-way, and
WHEREAS, there are permanent improvements which are now encroach-
ing on a portion of the right-of-way as it now exists,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF A LLkRMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION I.
That the North three feet of Vernon Avenue and the South seven
feet of Vernon Avenue is hereby closed and abandoned as a public
street.
