AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJACENT TO THE NORTHERN
TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS T. WHICH LANDS
ARE DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE. � �. / ( (/
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS :
SECTION 1. That the following tract of land located in
Wichita County, Texas, be and the same is hereby ordered to be annexed
and to be included within the corporate limits of the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, and that the corporate limits be extended so as to
include said tract of land in Wichita County, Texas, the same being'
more particularly described as follows;
BEGINNING at a point in the East right-of-way line of the
U. S. 287 Red River Valley Expressway at its intosection with center-
line of the North Main Canal of the Wichita County;Water Improvement
Districts No 1 & 2, said point being in the present North city limits
of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas;
THENCE, Westerly 360 feet with said centerline of said
North Main Canal to the West right-.of-way line of said U. S. 287 Red
River Valley Expressway;
THENCE, Northwesterly 1778 feet with said West right-of-way
line to a point in the West Survey Line of the S. Holloway Survey,
A-496,
THENCE, North 2080 feet with said West Survey Line to a
point in the North right-of-way' line of the U, S. 277-281, Spur 325,
U. S. 287 Red River V alley Expr-essway Interchange;
THENCE, Northeasterly 3440 feet with said North right -^f-way
line and with the Westerly right-of-way line of Spur 325 to a point
in the Northeast right-of-way line of the 1+K&T Railroad, said North-
east right-of-way line also being a present city limits of the City
of Wichita Falls;
THENCE, Southeasterly 510 feet with said r,^esent city limits
to a point for corner in ' the Expressway Spur 325 East right-of-way
line extended;
THENCE, Southwesterly 6350 feet with the present city limits
along the East right-of-way line of Expressway Spar 325 and U. S. 287
Red River Valley Expressway, to the point of begi. ring and containing

SECTION 2. In conformity with Section Z��.A of the Amended
Charter the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, this ordinance is on
