AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJACENT TO THE
SOUTHEASTERN TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,,, TEXAS,
WHICH LANDS ARE DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE. c "`r.,, w„ems. - ,, ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. THAT, the following tract of land located in
Wichita County, Texas, be and the same is hereby ordered to be
annexed and to be included within the corporate limits of the City
of Wichita Falls, Texas, and that the corporate limits be extended
so as to include said tract of land in Wichita County, Texas, the
same being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a corner in the present City Limit line said
point being at the intersection of an easterly prolongation of the
south line of the W. H. Spiser Addition and the east right-of-way
line of Dittoe Lane;
THENCE, north parallel to the Jacksboro Highway to the
present City Limit line in the south line of Hatton Road;
THENCE, westerly following the present City Limit line
along the south line of Hatton Road to a point 300 feet east of the
west line of U. S. Highway 281-79;
THENCE, south along the present City Limit line to a point
in an, easterly prolongation of the W. H. Spiser Subdivision;
THENCE, east along the present City Limit line to the
point of beginning and containing 36 acres more or less.
SECTION 2. In conformity with Section 3-A of the Amended
Charter of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, this ordinance is on
the /Y day of , 1960, introduced and the City
Clerk is directed to publ sh said ordinance one time in a newspaper
of general circulation published in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
and seven days thereafter this ordinance may be finally acted upon.
This ordinance having been introduced on the day
of , 1960, and having been published in a newspaper
of general circulation in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, to wit,
the Wichita Falls Record News, one time to wit, on the day
