Res Certificate of indebtedness 6/10/1946RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas, Depository
for the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, has deposited in trust with the First
National Bank in Dallas the sum of $600,000.00 U. S. 0.90% Treasury Notes, Series
D -1946, as security for the account of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, as
evidenced by First National Bank in Dallas Certificate No. 30225, dated June 7,
1945; and
WHEREAS, the above described Treasury Notes being Nos. 6025/6030 at
$100'M each are maturing July 1, 1946; and
WHEREAS, the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas, has requested
release of the above described Treasury Notes maturing July 1, 1946; and
WHEREAS, the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas, agrees to
substitute in lieu thereof $600,000.00 of U.S. 7/8% Certificate of Indebtedness,
Series B -1947, issued February 1, 1946, and maturing February 1, 1947;
NOW, THEREFMB, HE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
THAT the City Treasurer and the City Clerk be and they are hereby
authorized to accept as security for the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, $600,000.00
U.S. 7/$% Certificate of Indebtedness, series B -1947, due February 1, 1947, and
surrender $600,000.00 U.S. 0.90% Treasury Notes, Series D-1946, due July 1,
1946, as evidenced by First National Bank in Dallas Certificate No. 30225, dated
June 7, 1945, now on deposit in the First National Bank in Dallas.
