l','HEREAS, at a regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of
the City of Wichita Falls held at the regular meeting place in the
Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium Building in said City on the
12th day of April, 1943, at which a quorum was present, came on to be
considered the returns of the City election held on April 6, 1943, for
the purpose of electing three aldermen for said City, and
:'AREAS, after canvassing the returns of said election it was
found to be duly and legally held in all respect, and there were cast
at said election 716 votes for the election of three aldermen, and
that,
For Alderman Place No. 1
C. A. Spragins received 674 votes
Ray R. Keith received votes
For Alderman Place No. 2
J. W. Fitzpatrick received /'76 votes
For Alderman Place No. 3
J. W. Hunt received a9l votes
George E. Kadans received 37o votes
And it appearing that C. A. Spragins,received' the- gr6atest
number of votes cast at said election for Alderman Place Number One, that
J. ;1% Fitzpatrick received the greatest number of votes cast at said
election for Alderman Place Number Ty�=o, and that J. W. Hunt received the
greatest number of votes cast at said election for Alderman Place Number
Three,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE .
CITY OF VUCHITA FALLS, TEXAS-
That C. A. Spragins, J. Fitzpatrick and J. 17. Hunt were duly
and degally elected Aldermen of the Cit; of 4dichita Falls, lexas, at said
election and that said election was in all respects legally held in
accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the Charter and
Ordinances of said City.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 12th day of April, 1943.
