Res Election canvass 4/12/1937+:�YI7�ltli➢K#jai WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, held at the regular meeting place in the Memorial Auditorium Building in said city, on the 12th day of April 1937, at which a quorum was present, came on to be considered the re- turns of the city election held on April 6, 1937, for the purpose of electing three Aldermen for the City of Wichita Falls, and WHEF&01 after canvassing the returns of said election, it was found that it was duly and legally held in all respects, and that there were cast at said election-1289 votes, and that For Alderman Position No. 1: Pat Hardage received 884 votes Fred A. Reeder received 395 " For Alderman Position No. 2: J. We Fitzpatrick received 855 votes R. Q. Mills received 424 " For Alderman Position No. 3: Jas. M. Williams received 897 votes S. S. Disbrow received 383 " And it appearing that Pat Hardage received the greatest number of rotes cast at said election for Alderman Position No. One (1), that J. We Fitzpatrick received the greatest number of votes cast at said election for Aldermen Position Number Two (2), and that Jas. M. Williams received the greatest number of votes cast at said election for Alderman Position Number Three (3). THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDXRMEN OF THE CITY OF TKICBITA FALLS, TEXAS: THAT Pat Hardage, J. W. Fitzpatrick, and Jas. M. Williams were duly and legally elected Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, at said election and that said election was in all respects legally held in ac- cordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the Charter and ordinances of said City.
