VMREAS at a regilar meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of
Wichita Falls held at the regular meeting place in the Council Room of the
Memorial Auditorium Building in said City on the 11th day of April, 1938, at
which a quorum was present, came on to be considered the returns of the city
election held on April 5, 1938, for the purpose of electing a mayor and three
aldermen for said City, and fmx
WHEREAS, after canvassing the returns of said election it was found
to be duly and legally held in all respects, and there were cast at said
election 468 votes for the election of a mayor and three aldermen, and that

W. E. Fitzgerald received 464 votes
Otto Stehilk received 1 tt
For Alderman Place Number Four (4)
Edwin A. Hebb received 458 votes
L. R. Abbott received 8 it
For Alderman Place Number Five (5)
H. T. Naylor received 466 votes
For Alderman Place Number Six (6)
Frank Wolf received 458 votes
W. B. Ward received 8 tt
And it appearing that W ..E. Fitzgerald received the greatest number
of votes at said election for Mayor, that Edwin A. Bebb received the greatest
number of votes cast at said election ibr Alderman Place Number Four (4), that
H. T. Naylor received the greatest number of votes cast at said election for
Alderman Place Number Five (5) , that Frank Wolf received the greatest number
of votes cast at said election for Alderman Place Number Six (6) ;
THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDER&N OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
THAT W. E. Fitzger d, Edwin A. Bebb, H. T. Naylor, and Frank Wolf
were duly and legally electjWMayor and Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls
at said election and that said election was in all respects legally held in
accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the Charter and Ordinances
of said City.
