Res Lease 11/11/1946 RESOLUTION
THAT, ffiflMEAS, on the 9th day of October, A.D.
191+63 the City of. Wichita Falls executed a contract with
The Federal Public Housing .Authority for the construction
of a temporary housing project and among other provisions
said City obligated itself to secure and furnish said
Federal .Public Housing Authority a tract of land upon which
said temporary housing project was to be located, ands
WEREAS, G. E. Denman and wife, Clara Denman are
the owners of a tract of land 150 feet x 250 feet out of
Block No. 4. J. A. Scott Survey No. 12, Abstract No. 296,
located in The City of Wichita Falls,, Aichita County,
Texas., which has been approved as a suitable location for
said housing project, and,
MEREAS, a lease contract has been prepared be-
tween G. E. Denman and w%fe, Clara Denman and The City of
Vdchita Falls, Texas,, for a term of_five (5) years for a
consideration of Five hundred ($500.00) Dollars payable in
five (5) equal .annual installments; said lease is now in
form for execution.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
ALDERM OF THE CITY OF WICHIT'A FALLS., .TEXAS, AS F011OWS:
THAT W. B. Hamilton, Mayor of The City of Wichita
Falls be' and he' is- hereby authorized to execute, the above
described lease with G. E. Denman and wife, Clara Denman,,
lessors and The City of Wichita Falls, lessee.
