AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJACENT TO THE NORTHERN TERRITORIAL
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, WHICH LANDS ARE DESCRIBED
IN, THIS ORDINANCE. (Seetion 1, Lynwood West)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. THAT, the following tract of land located in
Wichita County, Texas, be and the same is hereby ordered to be
annexed and to be included within the corporate limits of the City
of Wichita Falls, Texas, and that the corporate limits be extended
so as to include said tract of land in Wichita County, Texas, the
same being more particularly described as follows :
BEGINNING at a point in the present City Limit Line,
said point being the intersection of the West line
of the S. Hollowa y Survey, A-496, with the West
right-of-way line of U. S, Highway 287 (Red River
Valley Expressway) ;
THENCE North 43° 291 West along said right-of-way
line 300 feet more @r less to the North line of
Ridgeway Drive;
THENCE, South 46° 301 West along the North line of
Ridgeway Drive a distance of 579.3 feet to the begin-
ning of a curve;
THENCE in a Southerly direction along the West line
of Ridgeway Drive following a curve to the left
which has a radius of 886.1 feet a distance of 719.2
feet to the end of said curve;
THENCE South 464,5 feet more or less to a point in
the present City Limit line in the center line of
the North Main Canal of the Wichita County Water
Improvement District No. 2;
THENCE following the present City Limit line East-
ward with the meanders of the center line of said
North Main Canal of the Wichita County Water
Improvement District No, 2 to the West right-of-.way
line of the Red River Valley Expressway;
THENCE Northwesterly following the present City
Limit line along said West right-of-way line of U, S.
287 (Red River Valley Expressway) a distance of 1354
feet more or less to the point of beginning and
containing 30.23 a•res more or less.
SECTION 2. In conformity with Section 3-A of the Amended
charter of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas , this ordinance is on

of general circulation published in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
and seven days thereafter this ordinance may be finally acted upon.
This ordinance having been introduced on the / day of
