ORDINANCE NO . /7 95—/
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1948 ,. CHANGING
SAID SECTION OF SAID ORDINANCE TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS:
That Section 10 of Ordinance No. 194 8 is hereby amended to
read as follows :
"Section 10. Chapter 2 of Title 9 Public Works , of
the Codification of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
1941,. and all other ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
expressly repealed. Provided nothing herein shall be construed
to affect existing rights and obligations under all bonds executed
prior to the effective date of this ordinance . "
Due to the fact that this ordinance amends an ordinance which
covers all improvement contracts on the public right-of-way within
the City of Wichita Falls and repeals all ordinances in conflict
herewith, creates an urgent public need for the preservation of
the peace, health and safety of the property of the City of
Wichita Falls, an emergency is hereby declared and upon final
passage of this ordinance the same shall become effective immed-
iately. 1
