BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS.
SECTION 1. That an election is hereby called on the 1st day of April, A.D.
194_, for the purpose of electing three Aldermen for the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas.
SECTION 2. The places for which Aldermen shall be elected are hereby
designated as Nos. 1, 2 and 3. Said aldermen shall serve the City of Wichita
Falls for the ensuing two years and until their successors are elected and
qualified.
SECTION 3. The election shall be held in accordance with the laws of the
State of Texas and the ordinances and Charter of the City of Wichita Falls, made
and provided in such cases. The places for holding said election shall be at the
Central Fire Station; Travis School; Barwise School; Wichita County Court House;
Kemp Public Library; Head & Stalcup "Furniture Store; 17th Street Fire Station;
Jefferson Street Fire Station; 7th Street Fire Station; Alamo School; 1701 Lucile;
Warehouse, Lone Star Gas Co. , 1426 Sibley Ave; Chick's Drapery Shop, 1518 Monroe;
English Pharmacy; Buchanan Street Fire Station; Holland's Barber Shop; North Side
Baptist Church; East Side Presbyterian Church; Doolen's Pharmacy; Hardin College;
and Carrigan School; and shall be conducted by the following named persons:
All voters living in Wichita County Voting Precinct No. 1, which is included
within the following boundary: "Beginning at the intersection of center line of
Seventh Street with the center line of FW&DC Railway Company main track, thence
west with the center line of Seventh Street to center line of Lamar Street,

SECTION 4. That a copy of this Resolution signed by the Mayor of
said City and attested by the City Clerk shall serve as a proper notice of said
election.
The Mayor is authorized and directed to cause this notice of the
calling of an election to be posted in the City Hall and in each election
precinct within said City for at least ten (10) full days prior to the date
of said election.
The Mayor is further authorized and directed to cause a notice
calling such election to be published three times in the official newspaper
of the City, the first publication of the notice shall be ten (10) days before
the election.
