Res 96 10/30/1950RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION
OF AVENUE` "K" AND DIRECTING THE ISSUANCE AND
DELIVERY OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE OF SPECIAL
ASSESSMENTS LEVIED.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, heretofore
entered into a contract with Stuckey Construction
Company a partnership, of Wichita Falls, Texas, for
the making and construction of certain improvements on
the following portion of Avenue ; UK" in said City, to wit.
AVENUE UKt3 , from the West Property Line of Polk
to the East Property Line of Santa Fe Street,
known and designated as Unit or District No, 1.
and,
WHEREAS, such improvements have been completed
upon said portion of Avenue °K" and have been inspected
and found to be complete in accordance with the contract
therefor, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT;

The improvements on said portion of Avenue "Kff
be, and they are hereby, accepted; and the contract
with reference to the construction of such improvements
be, and is hereby, found and declared fully completed .
and performed.

The Mayor be, and he is hereby directed to issue
and execute in the name of the City certificates in
evidence of the special assessments levied against
abutting property andc5wa rs thereof for such improve-
ments, and the City Scc . nary is directed to execute
same and impress thereon the corporate seal, all in
accordance with the proceedings relating to such
imiprovements and assessments; such certificates shall
be delivered to said Company.
III,
This resolution shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.

I beg to report that Stuckey Construction Companyapartnership, of Wichita Falls, Texas, to whom was
awarded the contract for the improvement of certain
streets, and avenues in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
has completed the improvements on
AVENUE "X"s from the West property line of Polk
Street to the East Property line of Santa Fe
Street, known and designated as Unit or DistrictNo, 1
The said improveNents having been completed in
strict accordance with the terms of said contract and
specifications of said work adopted by the City, I hereby
recommend that the said improvements be finally acceptedbytheBoardofAldermen
