Res 83 7/10/1950or RESOLUTION NO, 83 A RESOLUTION FIXING MINIMUM WAGE SCALE BERAS an investigation has been made of the hourly wage rates which are being paid in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, which is the locality in which the proposed construction of a sewage disposal plant complete, to operate in connection with the existing Imhoff sewage plant owned by the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereinafter referred to as "Project", is to be constructed by the City of Wichits; Falls, Texas to engagedemploeesineachtradeoroccupationation in work of aemployees nature similar to the work to be performed in the construction of said Project, and the prevailing hourly wage rates being paid in such locality to such employees for such work have been determined by in- vestigation and referred to as wage rates; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS: That the following rates for the respective trades and occupa- tions listed below shall be and are hereby fixed as the mini : hourly wage rates and have been determined in accordance with rates prevail- ing for work of a similar nature in the locality in which the Project is to be constructed: Per Diem Hourly Class of Labor Wages Wages Air Tool Operator (Jack Hammer Vibrator, Tamp)10.00 1.25 Asphalt Raker 10.00 3.,,25 Bricklayers & Tile setters 16.00 2.00 Calker 10.00 1.25 Carpenters & Joiners 16.00 2.00 Cement Finisher 9.00 1.125 Fine Grader 10.00 1.25 Fine Grade Foreman 12.00 1.50 Machine Setter 14,00 1,75 Mortar Mixer 10.00 1,25 Painter 12.00 1.50 Pipe Fitter, Cast Iron 10.00 1.25 Pipe Layer, Cast Iron, or Vitrified Tile 12.00 1.50 Plumber 18.00 2.25 Powder Man 12.00 1050 Power Equipment Operator: Air Compressor 7.60 0.95 Backfilling Machine, and Bulldozer 12,00 1.50 Concrete Mixer, 108 and Smaller 10.00 1.25 Concrete Mixer, Larger than 10S 14.00 1.75 Crane 14.00 1.75 Crusher, Distributor &Excavator 12.00 1.50 .
