AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF PORTIONS OF A ROAD KNOWN AS BUFFALO
ROAD AND ALLISON ROAD ALONG THE WEST LINE OF BLOCKS 20, 17, 8 AND 5
OF DENTON COUNTY SCHOOL LANDS, LEAGUE ONE (1) , WICHITA COUNTY, TEXAS,
TO BARNETT ROAD, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PORTIO aS OF ORDI-
NANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH,
WHEREAS, ' the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls
has been requested by the County of Wichita and other interested
parties to change the name of the Road known as Buffalo Road and
Allison Road within the City of Wichita Falls to Barnett Road, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, believes it to be to the best interest of the said City that
the names of said Road be changed;
NOW, THEREFQRE, BE IT ORDANINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: That portion of Road within the City limits
formerly known as Buffalo Road which extends from Farm to Market
Road No . 369 North along the west line of Blocks 20, 17 and 8
of Denton County Schorl Lands, League 1 to U. S . Highway No. 82
and No. 277, and that portion of Road within the City Limits formerly
known as Allison Road extending North from U. S. Highway No. 182
and No. 277 along the, West line of Blocks 8 and 5 of Denton County
School Lands, League 1, be renamed Barnett Road;
SECTION 2: All Ordinances or portions of Ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby,repealed.
