ORDINANCE N0. '4.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND CORRECTING THE CAPTION AND SECTION 1
OF ORDINANCE NO. 1978, WHICH ORDINANCE NO. 1978 AMENDED ORDINANCE
NO. 1688, WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE WICHITA FALLS PLUMBING CODE.
WHEREAS, the caption and Section 1 of Ordinance No . 1978
erroneously referred to Section IV, Article No. 2 of Ordinance
No. 1688, when in fact it was intended to refer to Section XIV,
Article No, 2 of Ordinance No. 1688.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE. BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the caption and Section 1 of Ordinance No.
1978 are hereby amended by striking therefrom the words "Section
IV, Article No. 2", and adding in lieu thereof the words "Section
XIV, Article No. 2" ,
Section 2: The fact that the present Wichita Falls Plumbing
Code s" no7. considered adequate in its present state and that
such fact creates an emergency, this Ordinance is hereby declared
an emergency on the ground of urgent public need for the preserva-
tion of peace, health and safety of property, and this Ordinance
shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
