'"Z''' ''"'""'" RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 38 RELATING TO THE IMPROVE:- MENT OF A PORTION OF GALVESTON STREET AND A PORTION OF VAN BUREN STREET ABS A PORTION OF BROOK AVENUE AND PORTIONS OF KEMP BOULEVARD AND A PORTION OF DENVER AVENUE AND A PORTION OF AVENUE K, AND HEREBY ADDING A PORTION OF TWELFTH STREET" TO SAID RESOLUTION, HICH RESOLUTION HAS HERETOFORE BEEN PASSED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF SAID CITY. WHEREAS, by Resolution Noy 58, passed by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, on the 17th day of April, 1950, the following streets and avenues Galveston Street From Virginia Paving To East Property Line of Mill St. Van Buren Street " So. Property Line of Fifth " No. Property Line of Sixth Brook Avenue So Property Line of Fifth So, Property Line of Trueheart Kemp Boulevard No, Property Line of Ave, U t Wichita Valley Railroad Tracks Kemp Boulevard So, Property Line of Ninth '? No, Property Line of Tenth Denver Street u So., Property Line of Fifth r No. Property Line of seventhAvenueKWestPropertyLineofMonroe " East Property..line°of Polk were ordered improved, and various provisions relating to the improvement of said portions of avenues and streets were set out in said Resolution No, 58; and WHEREAS, there were certain errors in the description of the above por- tions of the avenues and streets as set forth in said Resolution, and whereas there was omitted from said Resolution a portion of Twelfth Street, which should have been included in said Resolution No, 58; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS`: I. It is hereby found and determined that it is not practical to proceed with the improvement of the above portions of the streets and avenues therein de- scribed but that the same should be redescribed so as to properly reflect and describe those portions of the streets and avenues which are to be so improved, and that the portion of Twelfth Street should be added thereto, II. In each and every place in said Resolution hereinabove mentioned wherein said portions of said streets and avenues were described and the Resolu- tion did read as follows: Galveston Street From Virginia Paving To East Property Line of Mill. Property Line of Fifth r No. Property Line of Seventh Avenue K West Property Line of Monroe ' East Property Line of Polk said Resolution should be and is hereby changed and amended so that the description of those portions of the streets and avenues to be improved will and does read: Galveston street, from the west edge of the Virginia Street paving to the west property line of Mississippi St., to be designated as Unit No, 15 Widening Galveston Street, from the west property line of Mississippi Street to the east curb line of Mill Street, to be designated as Unit No 16 Van Buren Street,from the south property line of Fifth Street to the north property line of Sixth Street,, to be designated as Unit No, 17 Brook Avenue, from the south curb line of Fifth Street to the south property line of Trueheart Street, to be designated as Unit No. 18 r Widening Brook Avenue,from the south property line of Trueheart Street to the north curb line of Seventh Street, to be designated as. Unit No, 19 Kemp Boulevard, from the north property line of Avenue U to the north right-of 9 way line of the Wichita Valley Railway, to be designated as Unit No. 20 Kemp Boulevard, from the south property line of Ninth Street to the north prop- erty line of Tenth Street, to be designated as Unit No. 21 Denver Avenue, from the south curb line of Fifth Street to the north property line of Seventh Street, to be designated as.Unit No. 22 Avenue K, from the west property line of Monroe Street to the east property line of Polk Street, to be designated as Unit No. 23 The unpaved and unimproved portions of Twelfth Street, from the center line of Lamar-Travis Alley to the east property. line of Austin Street, to be designated. as Unit No. 24 III. Each and all of the terms and provisions of said Resolution No. 58 are hereby made applicable to and do hereby apply to those portions of the streets and avenues hereinabove redescribed the same as if said terms and provisions of said Resolution had been rewritten and reenacted herein, and each and all of the terms and provisions of said Resolution No, 58 shall relate to those portions of the streets and avenues herein described and redescribed with the same force and effect as if said portions of said streets and avenues had been described correctly and included in said Resolution Nob 58 in the first instance.
