RESOLUTION AMENDING SUNDRY RESOLUTIONS RELATING
TO THE IMPROVEMENT OF A PORTION OF ROBERTS STREET
IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, WHICH SAID
SUNDRY RESOLUTIONS HAVE HERETOFORE BEEN PASSED
BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, by resolutions numbered 56, 63 and 67, passed
by the 'Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
on the 17th day of April, 1950, the 24th day of April, 1950, and
the 15th day of May, 1950, respectively, among others,
Roberts Street from W. property line of Van Buren
to E. property line of Sunset Dr."
was ordered improved and various provisions relating to the
improvement of said portions of avenues and streets were set
out in said resolutions; and,
WHEREAS, Roberts Avenue has heretofore been described
in those resolutions hereinabove numbered 56, 63 and 67, as
Roberts Street", when in truth and in fact its designated name
is Roberts Avenue and same should have been described as Roberts
Avenue; THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
I.
It is hereby found and determined that it is not
practical to proceed with the improvement of that portion of
Roberts Avenue as heretofore provided for, but that said portion
of Roberts Avenue should be redescribed so as to properly reflect
and describe the portion of said Roberts Avenue to be improved.
II.
In each and every place in each of the resolutions
hereinabove mentioned wherein the description of that portion

Roberts Avenue to be improved did read:
Roberts Street from W. property line of Van Buren
to E. property line of Sunset Dr."
each said resolution be, and is hereby, changed and amended so
that the description of that portion of Roberts Avenue to be
improved will and does read:
ROBERTS AVENUE from W. property line of Van Buren
to E. property line of Sunset Dr."
III.
Each and all of the terms and provisions of each of the
resolutions hereinabove mentioned are hereby made applicable
to and do hereby apply to that portion of Roberts Avenue as
hereinabove redescribed the same as if said terms and provisions

of said resolutions had been rewritten and reenacted herein, and
each and all of the terms and provisions of said resolutions shal
relate to that portion of Roberts Avenue as same has been re
described herein, with the same force and effect as if Roberts
Avenue had been described correctly in the first instance.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force and
effect on and after its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 12th day of June, 1950.
