A RESOLUTION, TENDERING A FEE SIMPLE TITLE TO LAND NOW OCCUPIED BY
SHEPFARD AIR' FORCE BASE AND OWNED BY THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS TO THE
AIR FORCE, OF THE IGNITED STATES.
WHEREAS, the citizenship of the city of Wichita Falls is greatly indebted
to,,,he'rvAir Force of the United States for the establishment and mainten-
ance of Sheppard Air Force Base, and;
WHEREAS,,the City of Wichita Falls owns the land upon which the Base is
locate&, and,
MMFAS, ,the citizens of the city desire Sheppard Air Force Base to be
deslgriated. a permanent Base:
NOW THEREFORE] BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WYCHITA'F'AL�S' TEXAS;
That the _Air, Force of the United States be tendered a fee simple title
by a general warranty deed to said land containing about 400 acres,
being, all the`.land owned by the city of Wichita Falls now occupied by
Sheppard Air Force Base,
