RES0LUTION,$ g,-Z
YMEPX,AS, The City of Wichita Falls, through its
Board of Aldermen, has enacted an Ordinance abandoning
and closing certain streets and alleys in the area of the
Texas Electric Service Company Peer Plant, and being a
portion of Idill Street, San Antonia Street, Custer Avenue,
the alley through Block 31 of the I. Talonic Addition; a
portion of BLwnett Street, a portion of Twantieth Street,
and ail alley through Block 2 of the Sibley Taylor Addition,
reference being made to said Ordinance, and,
lrgEREAS, the Texas Electric Service Company had
heretofore conveyed to the City as an easement and an adjunct
to a part of the streets so closed, a 20.5' strip off the
West side of the Texas Electric Service Company property,
described as follows:
BEGIMING at a bronze monument set in the North
line of the Sohn A, Scott Survey No. 10 Abstract No. 302,
441.0 feet S. 89042tW from the Northeast corner of the North
crest Quarter of said Survey No, 10, being also the M11 corner
of a certain tract of land conveyed to Wichita Falls Electric
Company by the Texas Utilities Corporation by deed dated Aug-
ust 16, 1912; Thence South along the West line of said Wichita
Falls Electric Company tract, passing its Std' corner and con-
tinuing on same course along the West line of that certain 0.78
acres tract of land described as Tract No. 2 in that certain
deed recorded in Vol. 171, Page 175. Deed Records for Wichita
County, Texas, in all, 457.3 feet to a bronze mono rent at the
most Westerly Southwest corner of the Texas Electric Service
Company property; Thence bontinuing South to the North line of
Twenty -First Street, Thence East 2Ao5 feet to a stake for corner;
Thence North 536.4 feet to a stake in the North line of the Tohn A.
Scott Survey No. 10 for the NE corner of this tract; Thence S. 89042"W
along the North line of the said Tohn A. Scott Survey No, 10, 20.5 feet
to the place of beginning and containing 0.213 acres of land.
Wes, in as much as said street adjacent to said
20.51 has been closed, and the Texas Electric Service Company
has contributed other property for the opening up and estab-
lishment of a street in lieu of that portion so closed, in
accordance with said Ordinance.
NOW, TBMUTORE, BE IT RESOIfVED by the Board of
Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls at the said City of
Wichita Falls be and through its pro--per officials, execilte
and deliver to the Texas Electric Service Comlaany a Deed of
Quittance to said 20.51 strip herein above described, re
serving to the said City all. necessary easements for utilities,

for any Which are now located in or on said strip, and
with the right on the part of the Texas Electric Service
Company, if necessary, to re- locate such utilities with-
out injury or damage, at its own expense.
