AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1812, WHICH PROVIDED FOR
CLASSIFICATION OF ALL FIREMEN UNDER CIVIL SERVICE, BY DELETING
CLASSIFICATION V THEREFROM, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 1812, which provided for
the classification of all firemen under. Civil Service, is hereby
amended by deleting therefrom Classification V, Drill Master.
SECTION 2: The fact that the above Classification is
unnecessary, and the City of Wichita Falls is now preparing a
new budget, and in order to protect the public safety and welfare,
creates an emergency, and it is therefore declared that this
Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage.
