RESOLUTION NO.
WTHAS, the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas,
Depository of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, has deposited in trust
with the First National Bank in Dallas the sum of $600,000.00 in U.S,
Treasury bonds as security for the account of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, as evidenced by the First National Bank in Dallas Certificate
No. 38465, as hereinafter set forth:
Certificate No. 38465, dated February 1, 1949, U. S. 1 1/4%
C of Its, Series B-1950, due 2-1-50,
Nos, 2120/2125, @ lOOM ea 600,000.00
AND, WHEREAS, the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas,
has requested the release of the above described bonds, and
WHEREAS, the City National Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas, agrees
to substitute in lieu thereof $700,000,00 U.S. 2% Coupon Bonds of
December 1952-54,,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS,
THAT the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized to accept
as security for the City of Wichita Falls $700,000.00 U.S. 2% Coupon
bonds of December 1952-54 and surrender the above described U.S.
Treasury bonds aggregating the sum of $600,000.00 now on deposit in
the First National Bank in Dallas.
