Res 20 2/9/1948t RESOLUTION NO. 20 At a regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, there was present the following: W. B., Hamilton, Mayor, and C.A.Spragins,K.C.Spe11, E. The following resolution was moved , seconded, and unani- mously adopted: BE IT RLSOLV. 1) by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls that W. B. Hamilton, the Mayor of said city, be and is hereby authorized and directed to convey by spec- ial warranty deed to the Texas .electric Service Company, a private corporation, for a consideration of 425,000.00, to be paid to said city by the Texas Electric Service Company, the following lands in the City of Wichita Falls, to wit: FIRST TRACT: Beginning at a point in the Sohn A.Scott Survey No. 10, 224 feet west and 447.9 feet south of the S.W. corner of John A. Scott No . 11, and running thence south 130.8 feet to a point;thence S 35° 18' W. 379 feet to a stake in thefence; thencg S. 46°29'i . 224 feet to a stake; thence S. 89"511 E. 120 feet to a stake; thenceS. 43°461 E. 155.2 feet to a stake; thence S. 30°14' E. 128.8 feet to a stake; thence S. 79°21' E. 134.3 feet to a stake; thence S. 89°45' E. 269.7feettoastake; thence N. 2°30' E. 521.2 feet to a Bronze Monument set in concrete; thence S. 89°451 W. 281.3 feet to a corner; thence S. 16°38' W. 165 feet to a corner; thence N. 62°451 W. 120 feet to a corner; thence S. 35°231 a. 121.6 feet to a corner; thence N. 82 005' a. 62.2 feet to a corner; thence S. 70°491 W. 74.8 feet to the place of be- ginning and containing 15.4 acres , more or less. Save and except those tracts or parcels of land more fully described in the weed records of Wichita County in Volume 377, on page 418, and in Volume 171, on page 175. SEuONli .TRACT: Beginning at the S.W. corner of Lot 8, Block 10, South Park Addition and running thenceSouth66feettotheS.E. corner of said Lot 8; thence in a S.W. direction with the chain link fence 157.5 feet to a corner; thence West with the chain link fence 244.5 feet to a corner of the said fence; thence north 46.7 feet to a stake for a corner; thence S. 89°45' E. 269.7 feet to a stake; thence N. 2©30, E. 149.7 feet to a point ; thence east with the north alley line of the said Block 10, 214.4 feet more or less to the west right of way line of Highway No. 281; thence south with the right of way line 15 feet more or less to the south alley line of the said Block 10; thence west 154.4 feet with the said alley line to the N.W. corner of Lot 8; thence south 130 feet to the place of beginning. and that said Mayor is empowered to conclude said sale and to deliver said deed upon receipt of the money for the purchase price therefor.
