THAT WHEREAS, The Soap Corporation of America owns the property
located at 1900 Bluff Street in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and
has recently purchased Block 31 of the Jalonic Addition to the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, which adjoins Bluff Street on the East from the
property owned by said corporation adjoining Bluff Street on the West,
and
WHEREAS, The Soap Corporation of America desires to expand and
enlarge its operation on said property, which necessitates the running
of certain pipelines from the West side of Bluff Street to the East
side of Bluff Street for the purpose of connecting its properties, which
is necessary in the operating of said business, and
WHEREAS, the said corporation desires to secure a right-of-way
easement under and across said street for the purpose of running pipes
through a concrete conduit under said street for the operation of its
business.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
That the Mayor, be, and he is, hereby authorized and directed
to execute an easement to the Soap Corporation of America across and
under Bluff street extending from the properties at 1900 Bluff to Block
31 of the I. Jalonic addition, said easement to be used for the purpose
of connecting said properties by pipes and power lines running through a
conduit across and under said street for a cash consideration of $ 24,40
