WHEREAS, a certain airport, known as SUFFARD FIELD, WICHITA FALLS,
TUAS, has been declared surplus to the needs of the Federal Department or
agency having control thereof; and
WHER'EAS., the star Assets, Admihistrator has assumed accountability of
the said airport property. pursuant to applicable regulations; and
SEAS, the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, a municipal corporation
duly organized under the lags of the State of Texas, hereinafter called the
Licensee, has evinced an interest in acquiring the said airport property under
the provisions of and pursuant to the Surplus Property Act of 1914, as amended,
and applicable rules, regulations and orAers; and
MEPI,sAS, the War Assets Administrator by Morgan R. Lewis, Deputy,
Zone Administrator, Zone 5 *:Office of deal Property. Disposals War assets
Administration, did. grant to` the City of Wichita, Falls Texasa as Licensee,`
an Interim Permit to use, operate and maintain the following airport
facilities .known as .the.landing .area, and the buildings ..ands structures _..
known as Hangars; Nos. 102031..1040, and 10601 and containing certain
operational -and maintenance. equi

Jury, 1947, by the City ;of Wichita Falls, Texas, 'acting. by" and through

That the action of W. B. Hamilton, Mayor of the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, in. accepting said' Airport property under tine Interim Permit
above referred to, be approved by the City Council of the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, ' meeting in called., session on the llth day of ,August, A. D.
1947.
