AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJACENT TO THE WESTERN TERRITORIAL
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, WHICH LANDS ARE DESCRIBED
IN THIS ORDINANCE. (WESTERN HILLS BOWLING CENTER)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS :
SECTION 1. That the following tract of land located in
Wichita County, Texas, be and the same is hereby ordered to be annexed
and to be included within the corporate limits of the City of Wichita
Falls , Texas, and that the corporate limits be extended so as to in-
clude said tract of land in Wichita County, Texas, the same being more
particularly described as follows:
Being situated in Wichita County, Texas, in the William Meyer
Survey, Abstract No. 193, more fully described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the present city limit line, said
point being the southeast corner of the William Meyer Sur-
vey, Abstract No. 193;
THENCE west with the south line of said William Meyer Survey
400 feet;
THENCE north 786 feet;
THENCE east 375 feet more or less to the west right-of-way
line of Barnett Road;
THENCE south, along the west right-of-way line of Barnett
road 750 feet, more or less, to a point in the west right-
of-way line of Barnett Road at right angles with the inter-
section of the east line of the William Meyer Survey and
the north right-of-way line of the Fort Worth and Denver
Railroad;
THENCE east 25 feet to said intersection of the east line
of the William Meyer Survey and the north right-of-way line
of the Fort Worth and Denver Railroad;
THENCE south 36 feet, more or less to the point of beginning,
and containing 6.78 acres more or less .
SECTION 2. In conformity with Section 3-A of the amended
Charter of the : t o Wichita Falls , Texas, this Ordinance is on the
day of //'/.':-/.' 1962, introduced and the City Clerk is di-
rected to pub is sal. •rdinance one time in a newspaper of general
circulation published in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and 7 days
thereafter this Ordinance may be finally acted upon.
This Ordinance having been introduced on the .' ' day of
