AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING THAT PORTION OF WICHITA STREET
EX'1'E;NDING.`_FROM THE WEST PROPERTY LINE OF NORTH INDIANA AVENUE
EASTWARD TO THE ''WEST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF THE FORT WORTH AND DENVER
CITY RAILROAD, AND CLOSING AND ABANDONING" THAT PORTION OF NORTH
INDIANA AVENUE EXTENDING FROM THE SOUTH PROPERTY LINE OF WICHITA
STREET. NORTHWARD TO THE SOUTH PROPERTY LINE OF LINCOLN STREET.
WHEREAS, The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita
Falls deems it advisable and in the public interest to close and
abandon those portions of Wichita Street and North Indiana Avenue
hereinafter described,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE -IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,` TEXAS :
SECTION 1. That that portion of Wichita Street extending
from the West property line of North Indiana; Avenue eastward to
the West right-of-way line of the Fort Worth and Denver City Rail-
road be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned.
SECTION 2. That that portion of North Indiana Avenue
extending from the South property line of Wichita Street northward
to the South property line of Lincoln Street be and the same is
hereby closed and abandoned.
SECTION 3. The City of Wichita Falls , Texas , hereby
1 reserves an easement in said land for the purpose of laying and
maintaining all kinds and character of utility lines, including
water, gas , electric, telephone , telegraph, and power lines , and
sanitary and storm sewers .
