ORDINANCE NO. 2010
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING PORTIONS OF TWO ALLEYS IN THE
BLOCK BOUNDED BY TWELFTH STREET, THIRTEENTH STREET, HOLLIDAY STREET
AND BROAD STREET.
WHEREAS, The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close and abandon
those portions of two alleys in the block bounded by Twelfth Street,
Thirteenth Street, Holliday Street and Broad Street, said portions
being hereinafter described,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS :
SECTION 1. That the hereinafter described portions of two
alleys be and the same are hereby closed and abandoned, to-wit :
Tract 1:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 6, Isley
Subdivision of Block 251, Original Townsite of
Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas;
THENCE N. 34°-47 ' W, with the East line of said
Lot 6, 150. 0 feet to the Northeast corner of said
Lot 6;
THENCE N . 55°-131 El 25.0 feet to a point on the
West line and S . 34u-471 E, 15.0 feet from the
Northwest corner of Lot 11, Collins Subdivision
of said Block 251;
THENCE S. 34°-47 ' E, with the West line of said
Lot 11, 150 .0 feet to the Southwest corner of said
Lot 11;
THENCE S . 55°-13 ' W, 25.0 feet to the place of be-
ginning and containing 0.861 acres.
Tract 2:
'Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 8 Collins
Subdivision of Block 251, Original Townsite of
Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas;
THENCE N. 34°-47 ' W, with the East line of said
Lot 8, 165. 0 feet to the Northeast corner of said
Lot 8;
THENCE N. 55°-13' E 10.0 feet to a point on the
West line and S. 348-471 E, 35.0 feet from the
Northwest corner of Lot 4 of said Collins Subdivision;
THENCE S. 34°-47 ' E, with the West line of Lots 4, 5,
6 and 7 of said Collins Subdivision, 165.0 feet to
the Southwest corner of Lot 7;
THENCE S. 55°-13 ' W, 10.0 feet to the place of
beginning and containing 0.0379 acres .
