ORDINANCE NO, ,
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 1363, SO THAT IF A
PERSON PAYS ONE-HALF OF HIS TAXES ON OR BEFORE NOVEMBER
30 OF THE YEAR FOR WHICH THEIR ASSESSMENT IS MADE, HE
SHALL HAVE UNTIL AND INCLUDING THE FIRST DAY'' OF THE SUC-
CEEDING MAY WITHIN WHICH TO PAY THE OTHER ONE-HALF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS: TEXAS:
SECTION 1, Ordinance No, 1363 is hereby amended
by deleting the words "November 1st" and "lst day of
November" everywhere that they appear in such ordinance
and substituting in lieu thereof the words "November 30",
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 7/ day of
February, 1963.

Wa noed to have an ordinance passed to change the due data
of oUr one-half payment basis for City Taxes. Ordinance
r 1363 passed in 1943 provided that the second one-
of taxes could be paid in April if the first half loss

In several recent year* we have been unable to mail statements
until the latter part of October due to getting the tax
rates too late and the slowness of our billing machines.
