AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION X, ARTICLE 1, PARAGRAPH (r)
OF ORDINANCE NO . 1688, (THE WICHITA FALLS PLiUMBING CODE) ,
AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1978, BY DELETING TIE WORDS
"VITRIFIED CLAY TILE WITH A HOT POURED JOINT", AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Paragraph (f) of Section X of
Article 1 of Ordinance No. 1688, as amended by Ordinance
No. 1978, be, and it is hereby, amended by deleting the
words "vitrified clay tile with a hot poured joint" from
said Paragraph (f) .
SECTION 2. The fact that this amendment to the
Wichita Falls Plumbing Code is necessary in order to bring
such ordinance up to date creates an emergency and this
ordinance is hereby declared an emergency on the ground
of urgent public need for the preservation of peace, health
and safety of property, and this ordinance shall take effect
from and after its passage and approval.
