AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJACENT
TO THE NORTHWEST TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, WHICH LANDS ARE DESCRIBED IN THIS
ORDINANCE (RICHLAND ESTATES, SECTION I ) .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The following tract of land located in Wichita
County, Texas , be and the same is hereby ordered to be annexed and to
be included within the Corporate Limits of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, and that the Corporate Limits be extended so as to include said
tract of land in Wichita County, Texas, the same being more particu-
larly described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the North Right
of Way line of the Tank Farm Road with the West Right
of Way line of Spur 325, U. S. Highway 287 Expressway,
which is also a point in the present City Limit Line
described in City Ordinance Number 1928 .
THENCE in a Northwesterly direction along the North Right
of Way line of the Tank Farm Road 422006 feet.
THENCE along a 39° 301. 52" curve to the left 115.23 feet.
THENCE North, 639 .07 feet.
THENCE N 89° 318 E, 15 feet.
THENCE N 00° 298 W, 135 feet.
THENCE N 89° 318 E, 321.14. feet.
THENCE South 1078 feet to a point in the West Right of
Way line of Spur 325, U. S. 287 Expressway, a point in
the present City Limits line.
THENCE along a 5° curve to the left, along said Spur 325,
102.43 feet to the place of beginning, and containing
8.2 acres, more or less.
SECTION 2. In conformity with Section 3-A of the Amended
Charter of the City of Wichita Falls , Texas, this Ordinance is on
the 27th day of May, 1963, introduced and the City Clerk is directed
to publish said Ordinance one time in a newspaper of general circu-
lation published in the City of Wichita Falls , Texas, and seven (7)
days thereafter this Ordinance may be finally acted upon.
THIS ORDINANCE having been introduced on the 27th day of May,
1963, and having been published in a newspaper of general circulation
in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, to-wit: The Wichita Falls Record
News on the 14 day of June , 1963, and seven (7) days
after such publication having elapsed, this Ordinance shall be finally
approved this the 24 day of June , 196
