BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Ba&RD OF ALDEMI-11N OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:
In order to promote the golf game among the high school students and to
promote the Wichita Falls Senior High School Zolf Team, the Park Department is
authorized to issue to high school players not to exceed ten free passes to play
golf at the Weeks Park Municipal Golf Course, said passes to be issued at the
request of the principal of the Wichita Falls High School, the Coach of the Wichita
Falls Senior High School Golf Team.
Such passes to be issued for a one year period and are to be discontinued
upon the graduation of the player or upon his withdrawal from the golf team or by
request of the High School Coach or Principal.

COMMENT:
The Park Department has received a request from Mr. Oa. T. Freeman,
Principal, Wichita Falls Senior High School, asking that the ten boys
who represent the Wichita Falls Senior High School Golf Club Team be
allowed, to play golf at the Iffeeks Park iviunicipal Golf Course free of
charge.
The Park Board has approved this requests It is our feeling that as the
city school system is supported by city taxes, we should cooperate with
the schools in this venture.
We request the authority to issue passes to high school players who have
been certified by the principal and coach. These passes will be issued
for the one year period and will be discontinued upon the graduation of
the boy or upon, his withdrawal from the golf team or by request of the
coach or principal.
