The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls ,
Texas , at its regular meeting in the r- unicipal Auditorium
of said City, on the 28th day of January, 1952, approved and
passed the following refgolution:
WHEREAS, Harry Parks as a representative of the
Press in our City has for many months been assigned to report
on the affairs of City government, and
WHEREAS, in such relationship he has capably and
fairly reported the activities of our City to the Public,
and in so doing has enjoyed the confidence, friendship and
esteem of the persons who direct the offices of the City, and
WHEREAS, by reason of edi-se -,his -most promising and
useful career has been terminated,
NOW, THEREFORE, we desire to. extend our sincere
sympathy to the family of Mr. Parks in their bereavement.
IT IS FURTHER DIRECTED that this resolution be
incorporated in the official minutes of this meeting and that
a copy hereof be sent to the widow and family of the deceased.
