BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS THAT:
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls owns and maintains
airport facilities for the use of the various commercial airlines,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has the services of
a number of airlines which carry passengers, freight and mail to
and from the City of Wichita Falls by air, and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to establish
an air center and do everything possible to facilitate the grant-
ing and giving of air transportation to and from said City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said City requests
additional air service for passengers, freight and mail between
the City of Wichita Falls and the cities of Dallas, Abilene and
Amarillo. That this resolution is made to indicate the attitude
of said City before the various regulatory bodies that have to do
with air transportation and service.
