RESOLUTION ACCEPTINGTING IMPROVE LENTS ON A PORTION
OF NORTH FIFTH STREET AND DIRECTING THE ISSUANCE
AND DELIVERY OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE OF SPE-
CIAL ASSESSMENTS LEVIED.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls heretofore
entered into a contract with Stuckey Construction Company,
a partnership, of Wichita Falls, Texas, for the making and
construction of certain improvements on the following por-
tion of North Fifth Street in said City to wit:
NORTH FIFTH STREET, from the West Edge of
Pavement on North Broadway to the East Curb
Line of Grand Avenue, known and designated
as Unit or District No. 37.
and,
WHEREAS, such improvements have been completed
upon said portion of North Fifth Street and have been in-
spected and found to be complete in accordance with the
contract therefor, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDEP .L:LN OF
THE CITY OF 'tWICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
I.
The improvements on said portion of North Fifth
Street be, and they are hereby, accepted; and the contract
with reference to the construction of such improvements be,
and is hereby, found and declared fully completed and per-
formed.
II.
The Mayor be, and he is hereby directed to issue
and execute in the name of the City, certificates in evi-
dence of the special assessments, levied against abutting
property and owners thereof for such improvements, and the
City Clerk is directed to execute same and impress thereon
the corporate seal, all in accordance with the ;proceedings
relating to such improvements and assessments; such certi-
ficates shall be delivered to s a.i d Company.
III.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.

REPORT OF THE ENGINEER AS TO FINAL COMPLETION
OF IMPROVEMENTS ON NORTH FIFTH STREET, IN THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
TO THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
Gentlemen:
I beg to report that Stuckey Construction Company,
a partnership, of Wichita Falls, Texas, to whom was awarded
the contract for the improvement of certain streets and ave-
nues in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, has completed the
improvement on,
NORTH FIFTH STREET, from the West Edge of
Pavement on North Broadway to the East Curb
Line of Grand Avenue, known and designated
as Unit or District No. 37.
The said improvements having been completed in
strict accordance with the terms of said contract and speci-
fications of said work adopted by the City, I hereby recom-
mend that the said improvements be finally accepted by the
Board of Aldermen:
