Res 126 5/14/1951111 NO. 4. 1_104 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING ESTIMATES OF THE COST OF IMPROVEMENTS AND OF AMOUNTS TO BE ASSESSED FOR IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF BELL 11 STREET AND PORTIONS OF SUNDRY OTHER STREETS AND AVENUES IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, FIXING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING TO OWNERS OF ABUTTING PROPERTY AND OTHERS INTERESTED, AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO GIVE NOTICE. WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, has heretofore ordered that each of the herein- after described portions of streets and avenues in the City of Wichita Falls, 5Texas be improved by raising, grading and filling same and by installing and constructing thereon concrete curbs and gutters where not already constructed on proper grade and line and by paving same with a Type IQ -modified Asphalt Pavement on crushed conglomerate flexible base, together with incidentals and appurtenances, including storm sewers and drains, as and where shown on the Plans and in strict accordance with the Plans and Specifications now on file with the City; and, WHEREAS, bids were duly advertised for and received, 11 were fully tabulated, canvassed and considered, and the bid of 1 Stuckey Construction Company, having been found to be the lowesta and most advantageous, was accepted by the City of Wichita 1 Falls, Texas; and, WHEREAS, a form of contract has heretofore been executed by the City of Wichita Falls, Texas and by Stuckey Construction Company, for the making and constructing of said improvements, and said contract is now on file with the City; and, WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita 11 Falls has caused the City Engineer to prepare and file estimates of the cost of such improvements and estimates of the amounts per front foot proposed to be assessed against abutting property and the owners thereof, and such estimates have been examined; 11. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: I. A hearing be given and held by and before the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls to all owning or claiming any property abutting upon said portions of streets and avenues, as well as all owning or claiming any interest in any such prop- erty.
