RESOLUTION ACC7PTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION
OF AVENUE "K" AND DIR CTING THE ISSUANCE AND
DELIVERY OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE OF SPECIAL
ASSESSMENTS LEVIED.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, heretofore
entered into a contracttrith Stuckey Construction
Company, a partnership, of Wichita Falls, Texas, for
the making and construction of certain i=rovements
on the following portion of Avenue "K" in said City
to wit:
AVENUE "K" , from the West Property Line of
Monroe to the East Property Line of Polk
Street, known and designated as Unit or
District No. 27.
and,
WHEREAS, such improvements have been completed
upon said portion of Avenue "K" and have been inspected
and found to be complete in accordance with the contract
therefor, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
I .
The improvements on said portion of Avenue "?'"
be , and they are hereby, accented; and the contract
with reference to the construction of such improvements
be , and is hereby, found and declared fully completed
and performed.
II .
The Mayor be , and he is hereby directed to issue
and execute in the name of the City, certificates in
evidence of the special assessments levied against
abutting nro-nerty and oirners thereof for such improve-
ments, and the City Clerk is directed to execute same
and impress thereon the corporate seal , all in accord-
ance with the proceedings relating to such improvements
and assessments; such certificates shell be delivered
to said Company.
III.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.

Gentlemen:
I beg to rePort that Stuckey Construction Company
a partnership, of '.'ichita Falls, Texas, to whom was
awarded the contract for the improvement of certain
streets and avenues in the City of 7ichit:. Falls , Texas,
has completed the improvements on,
AVENUE "K" , from the Nest Property Line of
Monroe Street to the East property Line of
Polk Street, known and designated as Unit
or District No. 2?.
The said improvements having been com-mleted in
strict accordance with the terms of said contract and
specifications of said work adopted by the City, I
hereby recommend that the said improvements be finally
accepted by the Board of Aldermen.
