Res 110 2/12/1951RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION
OF BROOK AVENUE AND DIRECTING THE ISSUANCE AND
DELIVERY OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE OF SPECIAL
ASSESSMENTS LEVIED.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, heretofore
entered into a contract with Stuckey Construction
Company, a partnership, of Wichita Falls, Texas, for
the making and construction of certain improvements
on the following portion of Brook Avenue in said City
to flit:
BROOK AVENUE, from the South Property Line of
Fifth Street to the South Property Line of
Trueheart Street, known and designated as Unit
or District No. 18.
and,
WHEREAS, such improvements have been completed
upon said portion of Brook Avenue and have been in-
spected and found to be complete in accordance with
the contract therefor, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY TIE BOARD OF ALDEPJ ET? OF
THE CITY OF ''ICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
I.
The improvements on said portion of Brook Avenue
be , and they are hereby, accented; and the contract
with reference to the construction of such improve-
ments be, and is hereby, found and declared fully
com-)feted and performed.
II.
The Mayor be , and he is hereby directed to issue
and execute in the name of the City, Certificates in
evidence of the special as- essments levied against
abutting property and owners thereof for such improve-
ments, and the City Clerk is directed to execute same
and impress thereon the corporate seal, all in accord-
ance with the ,..proceedings relating to such improvements
and assessments; such certificates shall be delivered
to said Company.
III.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.

OF IMPROVEMENTS ON BROOK AVENUE, IN THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS.
TO THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
Gentlemen:
I be to report that Stuckey Construction Company
a partnership, of Wichita Falls, Texas, to whom was
awarded the contract for the improvement of certain
streets <-nd avenues in the City of . ichita Falls, Texas,
has completed the improvements on,
BROOK AVENUE, from the South Pr)nerty Line of
Fifth Street to the South Property Line of
Trueheart Street, known and designated as Unit
or District No. 18.
The said improvements having been completed in
strict accordance with the terms of said contract and
specifications of said work adopted by the City, I
hereby recommend that the said improvements be finally
accepted by the Board of Aldermen.
