Res 107 2/12/1951RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION
OF TWELFTH STREET AND DIRECTING THE ISSUANCE
AND DELIVERY OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE OF
SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS LEVIED.
T,:HEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, heretofore
entered into a contract with Stuckey Construction
Company, a partnership, of Wichita Falls, Texas, for
the making and construction of certain improvements
on the following -portion of Twelfth Street in said
City to wit:
TWELFTH STREET, on the unpaved and unimproved
portions lying in and between the center Line
of Lamar-Travis alley and the east property
Line of Austin Street, known and designated
as Unit or District No. 24.
and,
HERT AS, such improvements have been completed
upon said mm+ortion ,-f Twelfth Street and have been
inspected and found to be complete in accordance
with the contract therefor, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDER EN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
I.
The improvements on said portion of Twelfth Street
be , and they are hereby, accepted; and the contract
with reference to the construction of such improvements
be , and is hereby, found and declared fully completed
and performed.
iI .
The Mayor be , end he is hereby directed to issue
and execute in the name of the City, certificates in
evidence of the special assessments levied against
abutting property and owners thereof for such improve-
ments , and the City Clerk is directed to execute same
and impress thereon the corporate seal, all in accord-
ance with the proceedings relating to such improvements
and assessments; such certificates shall be delivered
to said Company.
III.
This resolution shall take effect end be in force
from end after its passage .

streets and avenues in the City of Wichita. Falls, Texas,
he s completed the improvements on,
TWELFTH STREET, on the wzmoave d. and unimproved
portions lying in and between the center line
of Lamar-Travis alley and the ea.s-t nroerty
line of Austin Street, known and designated
as Unit or District No. 24.
The said improvements having been completed in
strict accordance with the terms of said contract and
specifications of saidsPi6 york edonted by the City, I
hereby recommend that the said improve z:ents be finally
accepted by the Board of Aldermen. •
