AN ORDINANCE APPROVING PURCHASE OF LAND ON WINDTHORST ROAD
IN WICHITA FALLS FOR THE r,OCATION OF AFIRE SUBSTATION;
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PAY THE COST THEREJF; AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION lm The purchase of land on Windthorst Road in Wichita
Falls from P. Lo Cruse as recommended by the City Manager for the
location of a new fire substation is hereby approved.
SECTION 2, There is hereby appropriated and set aside out
of current funds the sum of FOUR 'THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED
DOLLARS to pay for said property:
SECTION 3. The fact that a new fire substation is badly needed
in this area creates an emergency for the preservation of peace,
health and safety of property and therefore this ordinance shall
become effective from and upon its passage
