Ord 2041 9/23/1963 ORDINANCE NO.
ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING ALL OF THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 12,
ORIGINAL TOWN OF WICHITA FALLS.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas , deems it advisable and in the public interest to close the
alley hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That all of the alley located in Block 12, Original
Town of the. City of Wichita Falls, Texas, which runs north from the
North property line of Madison Street, be and the same is hereby
closed and abandoned.
SECTION 2. The City of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereby reserves
an easement in said land for the purpose of laying and maintaining
all kind and character of utility lines, including water, gas,
electric , telephone , telegraph and power lines, and sanitary and
storm sewers .
