AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A REMNANT OF WINDSOR STREET
LOCATED IN WICHITA GARDETT ,AVE" AND EXCEPT FOR A 10 BY 40 FOOT
STRIP AT THE WESTERN END ADJACENT TO NORTH BEVERLY DRIVE, SAID
PORTION BEING HEREINAFTER MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls ,
Texas , deems it adletsable and in the public interest to close that
portion of windsor Street hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WITHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the portion of Windsor Street hereinaft-,
described be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned, said oro
tion of Windsor Stre -t being ', ,scribed by metes and bounds as fol-
lows:
BEGINNING at a point 10 fevt east of the Southwest
corner of Block 228 , Westwood Gardens Addition to
the City of Wichita , ells ; THENCE south 40 feet;
THENCE east 360 feet; THENCE north 40 feet; THENCE
west 360 feet to the point of b-ginning.
SECTION 20 The City of Wichita Falls , Texas, hereby reserves
an easement in said land for the purpose of laying and maintaining
all kind and character of utility lines, including water, gas , elec-
t-ic, telephone , telegraph, and power lines, and sanitary and storm
s wers . Further, the City of Wichita Falls , Texas, reserves the right
to us strip of land being 10 by 40 fe,-,t at tile western end of
Windsor Street for the purpose of widening North Beverly Drive, said
10 by 40 foot strip being excluded from the portion of Windsor Street
as above set out.
