ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PART PAYMENT OF
TEXAS HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, in Ordinance No. 2044, the City authorized they issuance
of Time Warrants to finance the payment of the b lance due to the
T=x=s Highway Department for the purchase of their property = t East
Scott and the Jacksboro Highway in the City of Wichita Fall, ; and,
WHEREAS, it hs developed that w are unable at this time to

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby -ppr°opriated out of current funds
the sum of sixty-two thousand five hundred doll-rs for p-yment to the
Texts Highway Department of the balance due at this time on the pur-
chase of such property.
SECTION 20 The fact that this balance is now due, and thc-t this
property is serving an essential purpose for the City of Wichita F=11s
crates an em-rgency, therefore this ordinance shall become ffectiv-
from and after its passage.
