AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF CRUSE DRIVE
BETWEEN LINWOOD AVENUE AND GRAND AVENUE, AND CLOSING AND
ABANDONING A PORTION OF GRAND AVENUE BETWEEN CRUSE DRIVE AND
U. S. HIGHWAY NO, 287, EXPRESSWAY, SAID PORTIONS BEING HEREIN-
AFTER MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close those portions
of Cruse Drive and Grand Avenue hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the portions of Cruse Drive and Grand Avenue
hereinafter described be and the same are hereby closed and abandoned,
said portions of Cruse Drive and Grand Avenue being described as fol-
lows:
Cruse Drive, from the East Property Line of Linwood
Avenue to the East Property Line of Grand Avenue.
Grand Avenue, from the South Property Line of Cruse
Drive to the Southwest Property Line of U. S. Highway
No. 287, Expressway.
SECTION 2. The City of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereby reserves an
easement in said land for the purpose of laying and maintaining all kind
and character of utility lines, including water , gas, electric, telephone,
telegraph, and power lines, and sanitary and storm sewers.
