AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A ''ORTION OF TWENTY-EIGHTH
STREET BETWEEN U. S. HIGHWAY NO. 281 (JACKSBORO HIGHWAY) AND
JASPER STREET, SAID PORTION BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close that portion of
Twenty-Eighth Street hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED ;Y THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the portion of Twenty Eighth Street hereinafter
described be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned, said portion
of Twenty-Eighth Street being described as follows:
From the East Property Line of Jasper Street eastward to the
Northwest Property Line of U. S. Highway No. 281 (Jacksboro
Highway) .
SECTION 2. The City of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereby reserves an
easement in said land for the purpose of laying and maintaining all
kind and character of utility lines, including water, gas, electric,
telephone, telegraph, and power lines, and sanitary and storm sewers.
