AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJACENT TO THE SOUTH-
EASTERN TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS ,
WHICH LANDS ARE DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE (WINDTHORST ROAD
FIRE SUBSTATION SITE) :
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the following tract of land located in Wichita
County, Texas , be and the same is hereby ordered to be annexed and to
be included within the corporate limits of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas , and the corporate limits be extended so as to include said tract
of land in Wichita County, Texas, the same being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the North line of Block 9, Cherokee
County School Lands Survey, A®33, 195 feet West of the
center line of the Old Windthorst Road;, said point being in the
present City Limits Line as described in City Ordinance No.
1865.
Thence South 150 feet;
Thence East 225 feet to a point in the East right-of-way line
of the Old Windthorst Road, said point being in the present
City Limit Line;
Thence North 150 feet, along the East right-of-way line of
said Old Wndthorst Road and the present City Limit Line to
the North Line of Block 9 of the Cherokee County School Lands
Survey, A-33 projected;
Thence West 225 feet along the North line projected and the
North line of said Block 9; which is also the South line of
Lots 32 . 31, and 30 of the N. Ho Brian Addition; to the place
of beginning and containing 0.77 acres more or less .
SECTION 2. In conformity with Section 3-A of the Amended Charter
of the City of Wichita Falls , Texas , this ordinance is on the /
day of November, 1963, introduced and the City Clerk is directed to
publish said ordinance one time in a newspaper of general circulation
published in the City of Wichita Falls , Texas , and seven days thereafter
this ordinance may be finally acted upon.
This ordinance having been introduced on the //a, day of Novem-
ber, 1963, and having been published in a newspaper of general circu-
lation in the City of Wichit= Falls , Texas , to-wit , The Wichita Falls
Record News , one time, to-wit, on the / , day of
