AN ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR CERTAIN CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENTS CONSISTING OF TWO FIRE SUBSTATIONS AND WEEKS
PARK GOLF COURSE IMPROVEMENTS, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO
2051 WHICH AUTHORIZED A TEMPORARY LOAN.
WHEREAS, on October 28 , 1963, the Board of Aldermen enacted Ordi-
nance No. 2051 , which granted authority for the City to borrow the sum
of 5170,000 to be used to finance two new fire substations and certain
Weeks Park Golf Course improvements in the City of Wichita Falls ; and,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that such Capital Improvements
can be paid for out of current funds , and such temporary loan shall
be unnecessary.
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of current funds
the sum of $170,000 to be used to pay for two new fire substations
and Weeks Park Golf Course improvements .
SECTION 2. Ordinance No . 2051, which granted authority to borrow
said S170,000, is hereby repealed.
