AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2022 (THE 1963
ELECTRICAL CODE OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS) , WHICH
AMENDMENTS CONCERN WIRING IN METAL CONDUIT, KITCHEN
CIRCUITS, AND GROUNDING®
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That Article VI, Section 8, of Ordinance No. 2022
be amended by deleting the words "or with a floor space living area
of more than two thousand four hundred (2400) square feet" . Also,
at the end of Section 8 of Article VI the following words are
added: "except low voltage conductors" .
Section 2 . That Article VI, Section 10F of Ordinance No. 2022
be amended by the addition of Section 10Fa which shall state,
"A kitchen must have a minimum of two (2) circuits supplying recep-
tacle outlets only, with a limit of four (4) openings on each cir-
cuit. These circuits may be extended to the pantry, laundry,
dining room and breakfast room. "
Section 3. That Article VI, Section 11E of Ordinance No. 2022
be amended by adding the following to the end of Section 11E: •
"the point of attachment of the grounding clamp must be accessible. "
