ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF ALLEY IN BLOCK
155, ORIGINAL TOWNSITE OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close a portion of the
alley hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Southeasterly .250 feet of the 25 foot dedicated
alley which runs between Sixth and Seventh Streets located in Block 155,
Original Townsite of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, said 250 foot por-
tion begins at the intersection of said alley with Seventh Street and runs
in a Northwesterly direction 250 feet to a point in the Northwest corner
of Lot 12 and the Southwest corner of Lot 3, and being that portion of the
alley which lies between Lots 12 through 8 and Lots 3 through 7 , be and
the same is hereby closed and abandoned.
Section 2 . The City of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereby reserves an
easement in said land for the purpose of laying and maintaining all kind
and character of utility lines, including water, gas, electric, telephone,
telegraph and power lines, and sanitary and storm sewers .
