ORDINANCE NO
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING THAT PORTION OF COLORADO
AVENUE LYING BETWEEN BLOCKS 38 AND 37 , 31 AND 32 AND LYING ON
THE EAST SIDE OF BLOCK 21 OF JOSEPH A. KEMP ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, FROM THE NORTH BOUNDARY LINE OF
THE J. A. SCOTT SURVEY NO 10, ABSTRACT 302 , TO THE SOUTH RIGHT
OF WAY LINE OF THE GALVESTON STREET CUT-OFF AS THE SAME PRESENTLY
EXISTS.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close and ,abandon that
portion of Colorado Avenue hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS :
Section 1. That that portion of Colorado Avenue lying between Blocks
38 and 37, 31 and 32, and lying on the East side of Block 21 of Joseph Ao_ '
Kemp Addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, from the North boundary
line of J. A. Scott Survey No 10, Abstract 302, to the South right of way
line of the Galveston Street Cut-Off as the same presently exists, be and
the same is hereby closed and abandoned.
Section 2 . The City of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereby reserves an ease-
ment in said land for the purpose of erecting, laying and maintaining all
kind and character of utilities.
