ORDINANCE PROVIDING A TEMPORARY LOAN OF $142,800, WHICH AMOUNT
SHALL BE LOANED TO THE WICHITA GENERAL HOSPITAL FOR THE PURCHASE
OF A NURSE CALL SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the City of Wichita Falls borrow the
sum of $142,800 under Section 100 of the Charter, which sum shall then be
loaned to the Board of Managers of the Wichita General Hospital to be used
for the purchase of a nurse call system for said hospital; and,
WHEREAS, there has been public notice of at least two weeks before
this proposal was finally acted upon by the Board of Aldermen.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE. BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, that the City be authorized to borrow such sum of
$142,800, and to loan the same to the Board of Managers of the Wichita
General Hospital to be used for the purchase of a nurse call system, such
sum to be repaid by said Board of Managers over a five year period.

THIS AGREEMENT made this the day of September, 1964, between
the City of Wichita Falls, Texas and the. County of Wichita, Texas, •
W I T N E S S E T H :
WHEREAS, the Board of Managers of the Wichita General Hospital
find it advisable to purchase for the hospital a nurse call system for
the sum of $142,800.00, and have requested that the City of Wichita
Falls and the County of Wichita loan them this amount, and agree to
repay it over a five year period; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is agreeable to borrowing such
sum from a bank and loaning it to the Board of Managers. '
NOW, therefore, said City and County agreed that, in the event
the Board of Managers defaults in the payment of said loan to, the City,
Wichita County shall pay to the City two-thirds (2/3) of' the unpaid
balance of such loan.
This agreement signed by the duly authorized officers of said City
and County on the day and year above set out.

THIS AGREEMENT made this the day of September, 1964, between
the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and the Board of Managers of the
Wichita General Hospital,
W I T N E S S E T H
WHEREAS, the Board of Managers of the Wichita General Hospital
have found that it is advisable to purchase for the hospital a nurse
call system for the sum of $142,800, and have requested that the City
of Wichita Falls and the County of Wichita loan them this amount, and
agreed to repay it over a five year period; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is agreeable to borrowing such
sum from a bank and loaning it to the Board of Managers.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Managers of the Wichita General
Hospital agree to repay to the City of Wichita Falls the Mum of $142,800
in five equal annual installments, the first installment being due and
payable on the day of 1965, and a like install-
ment on the same day of each succeeding year thereafter until the full
amount has been paid. The Board of Managers agrees to pay interest at
the same rate which the City of Wichita Falls has to pay on this money.
This interest shall be payable annually on the same dates, that the
principal installments are paid.
THIS AGREEMENT signed by the duly authorized officers of said City
and Board of Managers on the day and year above set out
